This excursion lets you try your hand at a myriad of opportunities to be one with nature. Snorkel, swim, sail, surf and lay back and drift on an inner-tube like a kid. All excursions that we offer are designed so that you can do as much or as little as you desire, with the reassurance that you are not alone and the comradery is waiting when ever you are. So, pack your swim suites, sunglasses and sandals because your adventure awaits!
Unwind
- Damajagua Waterfall and Caves Day Trip with Lunch - Natural pools, limestone rocks, caves and waterfalls, are all a part of this adventurous tour. There's something for everyone on this aqua or agua excursion. (Agua = Water in Spanish)
- Inner-tubing Along the Yasica River Day Trip - Feel like a kid again while you lie back and drift down the Yasica River. This excursion includes a private tour guide, a little history about the Yasica River, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and lots of low-key fun. (Optional Activity - Extra Fee)

- Surf Lesson - Surf's Up! - Even if you've never had a chance to 'Hang Ten' this is your chance. Novice to expert, a professional surf expert will take you through the steps to learn how to get on the board and catch a wave.
- Shopping Cabarete with Lunch - Know as the water ports capital of the Caribbean, Cabarete is a beautiful and blustery beach town, where kite-surfing is king. Stretches of beach are home to a diverse collection of art, clothing and souvenir shops, as well as restaurants and bars. A nice place to relax and lunch after surf lessons.
- Boat & Snorkeling Day Trip with Lunch - Full-day excursion This outing offers snorkeling and swimming off the coast of Sosua, lunch, and beverages included.
- Resort Beach & Pool Day - A day of enjoying the ocean and water activities the resort has to offer.

All Excursions by Deanne Frances trips, in 2026, will have the activities listed below, in addition to the previously listed theme related events, activities, and tours.
- 'Welcome' Cocktail Hour - Complete with drinks, appetizers, and new people to meet.
- Group Breakfasts and Group Dinners at one of three Resort Specialty Restaurants. Italian, Caribbean and Grill are all available. All are Hosted daily by Excursions owner and Trip Leads.
- Resort Relax | Private Time: Vacations are about seeing and doing everything, but there has to be a little time to unwind, nap, or just put your feet up and watch the world pass by. All of our excursions allow a little time in every planned day for a moment to say 'Ahh'.
- Ocean-Side Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner - Puerto Plata Restaurant. Enjoy the ocean breeze and a Caribbean meal. Chat with new friends, and enjoy an authentic Dominican meal.
