The Dominican Republic is known for its beautiful beaches, beautiful people, flavorful food, rich history and exceptional Carnival!  Every February the entire country participates in Carnival from the first week of the month to the last and you don't want to miss it!  Take in the pageantry, impeccably constructed costumes, and the fun; but that's not all that will enchant you on this excursion.  There will be food and drink and historical points of interest to hold you attention, and make you want to come back to the D.R. again and again.

  • Authentic Dominican Food and Puerto Plata City Tour - Get some rest the night before, because you will be swept away bright and early for a full day of historic sights, picturesque tourist attractions, and noteworthy foods. 


  • La Boca River and Countryside Tour In Puerto Plata - Half-day  This is a private tour, exploring the beautiful La Boca River and rural parts of the Dominican Republic countryside.

  • Carnival - A Day-long Excursion to the heart of Dominican Carnival, La Vega, with Lunch - This is what all the wait is for!  What had been called the biggest celebration of culture in the Dominican Republic, will overload your senses in the best ways possible! If you want to be in the heart of it all, don your own costume, and join in the fun.  This celebration is for everyone! 

  

  • Resort Beach & Pool Play - Enjoy the private wait service at the VIP beach area, check out the swim-up bar at the adult pool, or do next to nothing in the air conditioned Vintage Club featuring flat screen t.v., plush couches, and friendly bar staff. 


  •  Ocean Side Restaurant - Sample something new like the traditional and popular Dominican breakfast dish, Mangú con Los Tres Golpes. Translated = Mangú and the Three Hits. Mangú= Boiled and mashed plantains with Fried Cheese, Fried Salami and Friend Eggs. (Optional | Extra Cost)

  • 'Welcome' Cocktail Hour - Complete with drinks, appetizers, and new people to meet.


  • Group Breakfasts and Group Dinners at one of three Resort Specialty Restaurants. Italian, Caribbean and Grill are all available. All are Hosted daily by Excursions owner and Trip Leads.


  • Resort Relax | Private Time: Vacations are about seeing and doing everything, but there has to be a little time to unwind, nap, or just put your feet up and watch the world pass by.  All of our excursions allow a little time in every planned day for a moment to say 'Ahh'. 


  • Ocean-Side Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner - Puerto Plata Restaurant. Enjoy the ocean breeze and a Caribbean meal. Chat with new friends, and enjoy an authentic Dominican meal.
