Immerse yourself in the culture and romance of the country first hand, as you participate in social-networking activities with your excursion group and local gents of various social, economic, and educational backgrounds. - Puerto Plata City Walking Tour, Aerial Tram Ride with Lunch - Consider this tour just the beginning, as you visit scenic locations like the Puerto Plata Aerial Tram, that takes you to the top of Mt. Isabel de Torres. There you will be greeted by the Christ the Redeemer statue, botanical gardens, and stunning views of the city and ocean. (Ladies Only Activity)
- Bachata & Merengue Dance Lesson! This group dance lesson will be conducted by a professional dancer. The session will include group and individual dance time. No dance experience needed just the desire to have a little fun! (Mix & Mingle Event)
- Half-day Private Boat Tour, Sosua Bay, with Lunch - Fresh air and blue water awaits you! Snorkel, swim, dance, eat, while traveling the warm waters of the Caribbean. Snorkeling equipment, alcoholic beverages, and lunch are all included. (Mix & Mingle Event)

- Castillo Mundo King Museum Tour - Sosua: This one-of-a-kind, five story museum, features thought evoking Mayan and Alien themed artwork! The top floor has amazing views of Sosua and an actual throne, where Shutterbugs can sit and shoot away. (Ladies Only Activity)
- Wine and Cheese Mixer | Playa Dorada. Enjoy a red or white wine, or a fruity sangria, with a tasty charcuterie tray. Chat, laugh, enjoy the music. 'Tranquila', which is Spanish for Relax, Calm, Tranquil! No fuss. No rush. Just Tranquila. (Mix & Mingle Event)
- Malicon and Puerto Plata Lunch. The Malicon in the Dominican Republica is a miles long ocean front roadway, lined with restaurants, beaches, and piers. One very interesting site to see is the statue of Poseidon in the ocean, on a small island, at the Puerto Plata Malicon! Come and experience it for yourself, and learn the history of the statue. (Ladies Only Activity)

All Excursions by Deanne Frances trips, in 2026, will have the activities listed below, in addition to the previously listed theme related events, activities, and tours.
- 'Welcome' Cocktail Hour - Complete with drinks, appetizers, and new people to meet.
- Group Breakfasts and Group Dinners at one of three Resort Specialty Restaurants. Italian, Caribbean and Grill are all available. All are Hosted daily by Excursions owner and Trip Leads.
- Resort Relax | Private Time: Vacations are about seeing and doing everything, but there has to be a little time to unwind, nap, or just put your feet up and watch the world pass by. All of our excursions allow a little time in every planned day for a moment to say 'Ahh'.
- Ocean-Side Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner - Puerto Plata Restaurant. Enjoy the ocean breeze and a Caribbean meal. Chat with new friends, and enjoy an authentic Dominican meal.
